Our two-year capacity strengthening program is co-designed with partners who employ regenerative practices at the intersection of food sovereignty, livelihoods, and ecology.

Blossom resources local organizations to regeneratively grow into regional hubs.

We support the development and connectivity of grassroots regeneration hubs so that community-centered initiatives can proliferate across bioregions. We do this by resourcing those on the frontlines, grassroots organizations defending and regenerating their landscapes.

Through co-designing projects which restore biodiversity, enhance food security, livelihoods, and climate resilience, communities build their organizational capacity through their projects and peer-to-peer learning.

Meet the current Blossom cohort

The second Blossom cohort is rooted in northeastern Brazil, four Indigenous-led organizations restoring vitality and abundance to their territories in Caatinga, a unique semi-arid biome, home to thousands of endemic species and covering over 10% of the national territory of Brazil.

Their lives are deeply connected to every part of their territory – from each rock, to the sacred Umbu tree, even to birds that exist only in memory. They understand Mother Earth as a living being that calls for care, affection and respect and invite us to tread lightly, observe and interact with subtlety.

Regenerative pioneers

The 2021 Blossom cohort resourced thousands of members of indigenous and local communities to increase food security and secure sustainable incomes, while protecting and regenerating their traditional lands. Our partners scaled nationally and regionally while partnering with government offices and large NGO’s, further scaling their programs through additional funding received with support of Blossom ecosystem.

With decades of experience in agroecology and regenerative practices, our team and network collaborates closely with communities and identifies exceptional initiatives through our prize programs, ensuring impactful and sustainable development.
