EVA IGLESIAS
DEVELOPMENT LEAD

Eva has worked in Marketing and Strategy for over two decades and has a special passion for land regeneration, agroecology, and economic transformation. She weaves her skills in strategy, business planning, ecological design, and storytelling to help fund transformative initiatives, reimagine systems, and create opportunities for money to flow in service to life.

Faith Flanigan
360 Program LEAD

Faith Flanigan is dedicated to systems change through catalyzing collective insights and driving grassroots initiatives towards global adoption of regenerative practices. As the previous Interim Executive Director and Directors of Operations of the Buckminster Fuller Institute, she has over eighteen years of experience, she works to bridge experts with community leaders, catalyzing systems change and facilitating the global adoption of regenerative practices at the intersection of food sovereignty, livelihoods, ecology, and climate.

 

JANE THIGA
GRANTS AND BUDGET MANAGER

Jane Thiga is the Regenerosity Grants and Budget Manager whose roles include management of Regenerosity budgets, grants, re-granting/sub-award program, maintenance of grants database and donor grant expenditure tracker, as well as support in writing of grant agreements and amendments and review of expenditure reports from sub-awardees.

Jane has a background in Finance and Audit and brings over 10years of working experience and has held similar roles with IntraHealth International, Living Goods International and Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania.

Jane is a Certified Public and Accountant and holds a degree in Finance.

Ruth Andrade
BOARD CHAIR

Ruth, a member of the Lush team, has more than 10 years of experience in environmental project management and development in the business sector and two decades experience in education. Ruth also has experience in collaborative governance and collaborative methodologies. Her focus is in building and energizing networks to create a bridge between industrial growth and a new culture that can sustain complex life on the planet. Currently, Ruth weaves this experience into developing giving and regenerative impact strategies at Lush, while catalyzing partnerships and widening the impact of Lush’s pioneering initiatives.

 

LIVIA PRESTES
AMAZON REGIONAL LEAD

Livia is a communicator, works in the communication, art, culture and sustainable development working groups of the Maniva Agroecology Network, a social movement in the state of Amazonas. She works on the creation and execution of several socio-environmental projects in Brazil, making it easier for regeneration agendas to have an increasing voice and reach.

Juliet Millican
PMERL Lead

Juliet Millican is a research associate at the Institute of Development Studies and an expert in curriculum design and the development of learning materials for capacity building. She brings with her ten years’ experience as academic director of a community university partnership programme, (CUPP) at The University of Brighton and a background in adult learning for development. She has worked in many parts of Africa and the Middle East with some experience in India, Myanmar and Nepal. Juliet is the co-ordinator of the Re-Alliance network.

 

James Atherton
Learning Lead

James is a Queer, Vegan Permaculture designer, with a background in climate activism, film and the arts. Originally from unceded Turrbal and Jagera land in Meanjin (so called Brisbane, Australia), James lives in the UK. James was a founding member of Regenerosity, and Re-Alliance, a network of regenerative practitioners with a focus on influencing the humanitarian and development sectors with regenerative change. James also works on the coordination team of the Lush Spring Prize, a biennial award focussed on celebrating eco-social regeneration.

 

Jackie Kearney
Partnerships and Collaborations Manager

Jackie is a researcher, network facilitator, and project coordinator whose work focuses on localised climate resilience, ecosystem restoration and forced migration. Dedicated to supporting grassroots organisations working for a shift towards more equitable approaches to disaster, displacement and development, much of her work involves facilitating the formation of partnerships and amplifying marginalised voices through various forms of storytelling.

Jane Nakhanu Wegesa Fraser
Regional PMERL Advisor

Wegesa Jane Fraser (fondly labeled “Jjaja”) is a Kenyan with an aim to inspire communities to develop strength in social, natural, and financial capital. Driven by the degraded state of Kenya’s Natural resources and inspired by her childhood memories of a healthy land and environment. She has worked with different organizations to deliver training and supply vegetative material to multiple projects in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan and Democratic Republic of Congo, transforming lands and livelihoods. Wegesa is a Co-founder and Board member of Platform for Land Use Sustainability Kenya (PLUS-Kenya NGO). A Deputy Chairperson of the Kenya Landscape Restoration Action Group. A co-founder of Boma Ikolojia Regeneration project in West Pokot County. And a board member at Matunda Primary Sub-County Hospital, Trans Nzoia County. She is a Community mobilizer, Permaculture and Regenerative agriculture trainer and practitioner working with local communities, showing them to adopt simple and effective techniques i.e. kitchen gardens, food forest, holistic grazing, Permaculture, and other Regenerative solutions that help to restore degraded landscapes, improve livelihoods and boost resilience. Wegesa also sits on the Supervisory Board at Ecosystem Restoration Communities Foundation and is appointed by The Vetiver Network International (TVNI) as a country coordinator, and a certified vetiver grass supplier and trainer.

RACHEL STEELE
COMMUNICATIONS LEAD

Rachel (Ray) is dedicated to supporting regenerative food and knowledge revitalisation through 10 years of creative & storytelling work within purpose driven organisations. Her journey includes facilitating an online Tongan language space, a traditional housing initiative in Tonga and co-building a regenerative farm in Ghana.

 

Sheeba Sen
Advisory Circle

Sheeba Sen has spent the last 10 years working across rural India on poverty alleviation initiatives; from building farmer to cup supply chains for coffee farmers in the south, to heading a grassroots rural development nonprofit in the Himalayas. In 2016 she founded Alaap, a social enterprise with a mission to catalyze reforestation of native trees across India. Taking a systems approach, Alaap integrates large scale Miyawaki reforestation with supporting technologies that reduce pressure on the new forests (like clean energy alternatives, alternative biomass for construction and biochar for soil amendments). Sheeba studied International Relations at the London School of Economics followed by the Legal Practice course at the University of Oxford. She practiced at an International law firm in London before returning to work in rural India.
